Finally, after a long wait, the details for our Part 2 is finally out.

So... what is this part 2 is all about?

There are 3 topics that will be touched in this Fiqh Medic Part 2 - Becoming a Better Muslim :

The first topic, The Line between Halal & Haram in Medical Practice will address the issue of halal and haram in Malaysia. One of the questions that will be tackled in this segment is the use of drugs and medicine that are made from non halal sources. Participants will be informed on the degree of darurat that allow any medical practitioner to prescribe drugs and medication from non halal sources.

We invite Ustaz Ismat Nazirin, a Special Task Officer at al-Islam Specialist Hospital with several years experience in handling cases related to Muslim patients. Ust Ismat and one of his doctor friends will present to us some of the real cases that is related to our topic and discuss with us on how to handle these cases.

Our last topic is on Doctors and Marriage - Is Time a Problem?. This slot will be given by dr Fauziah Hassan, an O&G specialist at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital.
